Original 19th century Brass devil stove chimney fireplace damper pull, with original chain.
To open the damper, a chain would have to be pulled.
The devil clinging to the damper pull chain would hang down behind the flames giving off a Victorian atmosphere visual effect.
Size: 6-1/2 inches tall
Very good condition.
